There are some great looking XLT's out there. I bought a 2014 XLT bc the rebates were too good to pass up, but I really wanted the FX4. I am quickly getting tired of the entire chrome grill. I'm having no luck on Craigslist or eBay to purchase a FX2 or FX4 grilles to replace. I don't have a problem with plasti-dipping the inner bars but would like the outer part of the grill to be painted to match the color of the truck. Is anyone having luck or attempting to have the chrome grills painted?
Also, for the side mirrors?

Patience is the key, I just picked up a Tux Black grille for $365. I could only find one body shop that would paint it and they wanted $300 just to paint with no guarantees. I was going to keep the factory grille, but after putting FX4 heads in, I knew it had to go! Figured I'll sell mine and recoup some of the cost!

Ha ha! Yeah, that back one was chrome. I just plastidipped them yesterday. I had a black door handle cover on there and it got ripped off in a car wash, along with my friggin' antenna.

That thing looked like a rag monster whose purpose was to destroy my truck. I was scared *****less in there too. I felt like I was being eaten alive. I don't know how people can come out of one of those with no damage. It's brushless all the way for me from here on out.
