Default 2012 SuperCrew XLT 4x4

I installed Bilstein 5100s today, and they are freaking amazing.

This is the truck pre-install:

And post-install:

Rear stayed at 40", and fronts went from 37.5" to 39.75".

I just spent I don't know how long looking at all the pretties.

Here's my XLT the first morning I had her:

Much as I like looking at all the pretties, I am more into utility mods than aesthetic mods. Since this pic was taken she's had Line-X, a hood deflector and bed extender installed, along with losing the poorly applied pinstriping the dealer put on. Still pretty vanilla, and that's OK by me.

What setting are you at? And did you do the rears too or are they stock?

I put the fronts at the highest setting (2.25") and replaced the rears as well. I figured if I was too nose-up, I would just AAL.

If you are thinking about doing this, it's all doable, but have Pep Boys swap the springs for you. Absolute piece of cake for them. 30 mins and $40 later, I was on my way.

Congrats on the new truck! I am new to the site and also a new owner of a 2013 F150 XLT Blue Jeans SCREW. I was browsing and felt a connection when I saw your post. I hope she treats you well!

Thank you! Have you noticed any mpg difference with the truck leveled, I hear there is a loss sometimes?

I have driven +/- 100 miles with the level, and will be installing custom tunes on Monday. I didn't notice anything adverse during those 100 miles, but that isn't enough to tell anything.
