I hesitate to say this to someone with such a beautiful truck......but my wife (who used to live in Alaska) says that she hopes you know the tradition of not washing your truck until you get to your destination in Alaska.
That's your first initiation as a Sour Dough from being a Cheekchako....unless you've already pee'd in the Yukon, which will further your creds as a Sour Dough!

I had not heard that. Unfortunately, I am pretty **** about a clean truck so it was washed at every stop along the way. I did, however, **** all over northern BC and YT. There weren't a lot of bathrooms along the way and lots of coffee.

I made it to Alaska today. Here are some final pics from Kluane Lake in western Yukon. It was a little hazy today but still incredibly beautiful.

Thank you for your service too!

Here's an interesting road to take your F-150 on: Hatcher Pass between Palmer and Willow. I'm driving a 1943 ****** jeep with a homemade camper trailer. I was with a group of people honoring the 70th anniversary of the Alaska Highway's construction.

Here's another shot of a group of us on the Dempster Highway, maybe 50 miles from Dawson City, returning from the Arctic Circle. I'm driving the last vehicle. I would like to drive the Dalton Highway sometime too - another bucket list item.
