Picked up used eco - now questions

Thanks for the replies! I am going to do plugs at .028, 5-30 mobil one and mobil one filter. I checked the intercooler and it doesn't have the weep hole, so I will get that drilled tonight. Going to try a few different things to tow, so we will see if it works. If not, I am not going to be happy.

I drilled the weep hole and it puked out a ton of oil water mix. Surprised, but glad I did it. Now, I wonder how much damage was done to the engine / cats / O2 sensors after not having the hole for that many miles.

After the weep hole, I have had no more misfires. I did have to replace catalytic converters and o2 sensors. The truck has the startup rattle, so I am getting rid of the truck. I am not dumping anymore money into it.

Dang, sorry to hear.
Owning ~3 weeks and replacing all those items to only sell/trade is going to hurt. Hopefully you got a great deal on it to start and won't be losing a ton on short resell. You likely have not even made the first payment yet.

The truck must have had the misfire all along its life. It had no weep hole prior to me, so the fuel dump on misfire blown through the exhaust ate the converters and o2 sensors.
I really like the supercrew configuration, so I will be searching for a V8 version of what I have. I don't need any downtime on a truck and not willi g to take a risk on another eco. Definitely not pumping $3100 more to get the chains/phasers done. Ford really needs to step up and own these problems. From my experience this stupid engine is a shiny turd.
