Default Pic Request - 22's on 2011

Anybody running 22's without a lift? I am considering a set of 22" KMC slides +38 mm offset with 305/45/22 tires. Would like to remove the rear blocks to level her out. Think it'll work? Anybody else running a setup like this?

Google: famous white f150. He is running 22 slides with cooper tires. He's also selling them. Last time I checked he wanted $1800.

You don't need a lift to run taller wheels, you need lift to run taller tires. As long as the 305/45/22 works out to be a stock height tire ie. 31"-32" then they will fit.

And yes ripping out the block should level it.

Be sure to post pics

Slides will be my rims once i find a truck. Does it effect anything by removing the blocks?

No just go ahead and get new U-Bolts when you do remove them, they aren't very expensive.

you should be alright with that setup.

there are many hear running tires a little taller (i calculated out the 305/45/22 to be just north of 32" height) on stock height trucks without issue. the stock 20" wheels are a +44mm offset, so yours will stick out just a touch more than factory. if anything, you may have a minor trim to do on the front at full lock.

post pics when you get them on there!

I got the same set up. 22x9 monsters and 305/45-22 Pirellis. 2" drop shackles. Removing blocks is 1.25".
