Thanks NASSTY...I was happy with the light output as well.
I was after the look.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did these cost? I'd like to swap to the OEM HID's on my FX4. Also, was anything special needed for the install?

I am also interested, please. Would love to do something like that to mine! Also, did you do it yourself or hired some help?

I paid around $1000 for mine including a plug & play harness necessary to adapt the 2009-2012 to 2013 specs.
Mine are the exact OEM HID’s that would come on the 2013-2014 F150’s. If you want to pay for an upgrade to the lighting, that’s possible too. I was content with the OEM though as I was more after the look than light output.
There are different types available, like the chrome ones from the Limited or the blacked out one I got that are from the FX4 package.
If you’re in the States, you can get the OEM HID’s from the Retrofit Source for $1050.00. That includes the Morimoto Plug N Play harness & OE Osram ballasts. There is lots of information on the site to assist you with the install.

If you’re in Canada, with the exchange rate & shipping etc (UPS brokerage fees), you might find it cheaper to buy from Bilinvic Retrofits out in British Columbia. He sells the OEM’s, but his specialty is complete retrofits including the new look of the 2015 F150’s with the LEDs. This guy is apparently the most sought after retrofitter in North America. If you’re looking simply for the OEM HIDs, just email him and get a price, as I don’t think he lists the pricing for the straight OEM HIDs on his site.

As far as the install, I’m an amateur when it comes to projects like this, but I was able to get the job done, even with the hiccups I ran into with the seller that I won’t get into here.
A guy posted a video of the installation of the OEM HIDs on his 2011 Ford F150. It’s a great video and covers all the information you’re need to get these things installed properly.
As I said, I don’t usually mess around with my truck, leaving all the work to my local Ford dealer. On this job I contacted the dealer about purchasing the OEM HIDs from them and having them install them. They quoted me $4000.00 & said it wasn’t a good investment of my money. Well by the time I paid the currency exchange from US to Canadian, shipping, handling & UPS brokerage fees, I got these OEM HIDs for about $1600 Canadian…so I’m way ahead as far as I’m concerned.
