I am not talking about a "few" customized trucks on a forum, though. I could live with that.

Not to mention you're barely ever going to see a highly customized truck in real life, only when you're on forums like this....so for me, if mine looks similar to a few other random people on the internet i don't really mind much.

The guy asked about matching the flares to that new color and then you replied saying it wouldn't look good. Without quoting anyone. So I assumed you were replying to the post right before yours.

PTM = paint to match

I meant what does this post mean, not PTM.

He asked in the OP about matching his flares and panels to the color of his wheels. I was responding to the OP saying it would not look good.

You said PTM flares look good, and I agree as long as it's painted to match the body color and not a two tone color setup.

Just because something has been "done to death" on the forums here, doesn't mean it won't still look good in the real world. Plenty here have aftermarket wheels and leveling/lift kits, but it doesn't mean people that don't drive a similar truck every day won't like it. There are still a few dozen stock F150s on the road for every 1 that is customized.

Plenty of black King Ranch trucks have two tone (light tan on current gen and darker tan on 15-16) and look good to me at least.
