You've got one of the best looking trucks stock that they make, pretty much everybody that has two tone wishes that they had a monocolor truck like yours, especially in black.

Know what you mean but I don't see any black two-tone trucks here at all - none.

Like many here, I like to make my truck unique. Little things that make mine stand out without being tacky.

I'm always looking for ideas to do just that.

For instance, a 4" lift, will be changing the wheels eventually - or not. Plastidipped the chrome with a dark gray with red letters.

I love modding the truck but I want it to look bad *** and classy at the same time. If that can even be done.

I have seen these trucks with special paint...black on top fading down to a maroon red at the bottom. Wife wants me to do that and I'd love to but the $$ might make out of my reach. It does look awesome tho.

Anyhow, I'm always looking and testing different looks and will eventually find something that blows up my skirt...so to speak.

Any Picts or suggestions are always welcome.

when people say "im looking to make my truck unique" they end up making it look terrible 90% of the time in my opinion. Two tone (especially with black) just plain looks bad, I think when you want to make your stuff look unique AND good at the same time, subtly is an art you needs to learn. Badges are a good start, lifts and wheels always looks nice.

Here's some ideas i threw together in photoshop, changes i made were: Red Demon eyes in the headlights, PTM glossy black fender covers (instead of the matte black they are now), red strip on the mirror covering the reflector and red lug nuts.

Jimmiy, I like the Two, tone, but I may be biased. LOL

To me Black/Red Combo, Black/White Combo have been done to death.

Yea, agreed.

As I said, I'm looking at many options and haven't found "it" yet.

I'm big into subtle.

Was looking at red Ford badges for the wheel center.

The two tone paint is not what I wanted as I looked at the pictures (thanks to rangerrick ).

I had two tone on my previous 2011 , Blue Flame truck and black Plastidip on the bottom. Looked fantastic and got tons of compliments. That is the reason I was considering two tone now. It just doesn't look right on a black truck IMO.

Still looking for the subtle red highlights like you included however, I will most likely go with black wheels with red accents in the future.

I want to make it inexpensive so Plastidip is always an option to me.

Thanks again to all for your comments.

problem is that things tend to be done to death because they look the best, with as many people on enthusiast forums as there is, finding something that's unique AND looks good is hard

Not to mention youre barely ever going to see a highly customized truck in real life, only when you're on forums like this....so for me, if mine looks similar to a few other random people on the internet i dont really mind much.
