I don't get it… Do you need to pass an inspection yearly or something? In order to get your yearly registration on your plates?

actually any aftermarket tint is illegal i found out….i have 20 on mine but anything darker than 80% or some weird number in the front shouldn't pass. only tint allowed at all in the rear is factory privacy glass….gotta love mass

MA tint law is 35% on all windows, unless factory. The sunstrip must be non-reflective and cannot go lower than six inches from the top of the windshield.

As for Massachusetts lift laws, 4X4 vehicles can be lifted based on this equation: (wheelbase*wheel track)/2200. I believe this comes out to around 4" of legal lift, but double check. 2WD is 2" maximum.

Hope this helps!

What they consider legal around here, is hardly even worth doing.
I might take my chances and go the next shade darker.

Compared to most states, I'm surprised MA let's you do 35%. It is dark enough that it makes the trucks look classy.
I "took the chance" and got the next shade darker on my old truck and couldn't pass inspection because it was 7% to dark via tint-meter.

...that being said my new truck has 10% on all windows.
