I couldn't figure out what to name this.

When I lock my truck with my key fob, the top light flashes on one side and the bottom light flashes on the other. I would assume all four lights are supposed to flash.

Everything else is working just fine. I do have some very nice F150 LED LEDs installed if that has anything to do with it. I wouldn't think so since this feels like a wiring issue.

Any ideas?

 

Does it do it if the regular bulbs are installed?

 

I don't remember it doing it.

I read somewhere that different filaments are "activated" by braking, parking, etc. Maybe I need to flip the bulbs and see what happens. While I'm at it, I can check with regular bulbs.

 

Yep, I would agree that its likely the LED bulbs

 

X3 those LEDS being the issue. Try the incandescent to confirm. If confirmed it’s the LEDs, try a better type. Sylvania zevo are always a long lasting issue free brand.

The problem with f150leds is they’re just the same cheap Chinese made Amazon stuff only they’re being sold with a different logo and added customer support for more money.
