Not sure. Usually corrosion tends to stop current, not send it through when you don't want it.

Also, since the BCM controls its power, it says hot only in Start/Run, there shouldn't be current getting there in the first place.

My humming noise is back when the vehicle is off. I was finally able to get a video of the sound today
. Sound seems to be coming from the transmission. Like before, pulling my PCM relay, Fuse 26 (Powertrain control module – keep alive power and relay coil, canister vent solenoid), Fuse 53 (Run/start – Powertrain control module), Fuse 75 (Powertrain control module – voltage power 1) or interior Fuse 18 (Brake-shift interlock, Keypad illumination, Powertrain control module wake-up, Passive anti-theft system) will make the humm stop.

Any one have a guess?

How did you make out on that? My gremlin is back aswell was fine for 3 months now dead twice in 2 days over nite drops battery to 7v. Damn frustrating have already greased the connectors few months ago and it’s a column shift 13 crew any thoughts?

I wired in a switch to Fuse 53 (run/start - power train control module). I used a fuse tap and a normal closed switch inside the cab. When I park I just press the button which acts the same as pulling the fuse and putting it back. This stops the humming and the battery draw.

It's the only solution I could think of and I haven't had an issue since although it has not gotten below freezing yet which is when the draw really caused a problem with the battery.

I'm having the same problem with my 2014 and I've been pulling fuse 53 every time I park for over a few hours to shut off the system. The switch idea is good and might be the best work around but is a bit unsettling that it doesn't address the root cause. Any more luck in determining the problem? Its getting cold out there.

I haven't spent much time trying to figure it out since install the fusetap. Fusetap works good though as long as you remember to press it!
