Not feeling that grill at all. Looks out of place on the 09-14 f150 At least the Boost Bars version looks OEM-like.
Worst part about them is the cost.. close to $1000 all said and done for a Canadian. I wonder if the other grill would tie in better if a bug shield was around it so the two spots above the headlights are covered?
Contacted paramount who said they no longer offer the letters due to copy rights. Looks like I'm going to have to mod the existing letters like Mario did.
Well I got the grill and began modding the letters so they spell "FORD" instead of "DODD". So far this is what i have done.
This is the letter after being cut with hacksaw blade and then the scrap pieces were used to fill in all the areas that needed it. They were attached using super glued for now. I will be adding some bumper repair epoxy to fill in and sand smooth.
This is the letters just placed together and how they will roughly look.
I found this can at autozone for $8 and it was a very close match. I'll have to wait to see if I will have to paint the the rest of the letters or there while grill the same color.
I will post pics of it once they are painted and attached to the grill and then the truck. What do you guys think so far?
I got the boostbars raptoid - I like the look of these and you can get the "letter kit" which is of course the ford letters. iirc was around 370 shipped (Canada/includes customs broker fee).

That's a great price, I haven't been able to find that raptoid grill for under 600 plus the fees and then painting. I agree that the raptoid grill is nice and has a price tag to prove it.
I like the way it came out, and for the price I paid I'm very happy with it. Now I just have to get with the dealer to enable the drl, where one tech already said it can't be done. He hooked up the ids and it showed the option for front parking lamps but he refused to click on the button.

Looks good from the front.... looks like it sticks out quite a bit topside though.... had thought about changing to similar but now thinking will just stick with the billett that was installed by Ford as part of Mod package. Probably just change the badge instead.....
