Default Palm tree: 1, f150: 0

My 2012F150 Screw was parked in my driveway under a car cover. Adjacent to the driveway are 25 ft. tall palm trees (Southern Calif). I am just behind the truck doing some small woodworking project when all of a sudden I hear a crash and the alarm system on the goes off! I look and oh s#%t, a large palm branch snapped off the palm tree (from the side opposite the truck, go figure) and hit the right front fender and was laying on the ground. Needless to say, I didn't want to lift the car cover for fear of what I was going to find. I lifted the cover and there it was - a nasty vertical dent across the fender. No paint damage though, and no damage to the hood. I was stunned, but after putting everything in perspective, thankful that it didn't come down on a family member or me. I think this is a perfect candidate for Paintless Dent Repair. Anyone had a dent like this and had it removed with PDR? I don't even have a door ding or rock chip in this truck and I get wacked in my own driveway.

Yea I've had painless dent done before. Week after I bought my 2011 limited someone caught my drivers side door right at the body line that runs the full length. Took it to dent clinic 140$ and 30min later couldn't even tell it was ever there. Been lucky since.

Looks bad, but no crease. There is some slight crowning at the top of the dent. If it were pinched with cracked or broken paint, I would be looking at a body shop fix.

Default Another view

Here's another view of it - looking from rear toward the front end.

PDR can almost work miracles these days. I only had mine about two weeks and a pretty bad hailstorm came thru town while we were out of town. $2k worth of damage and you can't even see any damage whatsoever after they were through.

Man that sucks. Just be thankful it wasn't the entire tree!

I've had a few issues in the past with dents and dings. When it comes to PDR I use Dent DR. They do good work.
