Default Painted my 9" Emblem and Peeled the Chrome Letters

My front FORD emblem was kinda all mucked up and the chrome part wasn't chrome anymore so I ordered a new one for about $30.

I wanted the background to be black, but I wasn't about to pay $55 -$90 for them off of ebay or other sites, so I painted it myself with plasti-dip. After painting the whole thing and letting it dry I then simply traced the edges of the letters and border with an exacto knife and the coating on the letters then peeled right off nice and neat and I was left with the chrome text and border. I then gave the whole thing a couple coats of clear coat and it looks great. I will try to post pics sometime when I can get them.
