Cool, I will check that out. If anyone out there wants the chrome insert ones and has the blacked out ones, might trade. Mine are brand new, just got the truck. The mod above is not done to them yet, but could be. Let me know...

Is a regular spray paint for plastic (gloss black for exemple) sprayed in a jar then applied with a brush would give the same look or do I have to use the touch up paint from the dealer$?

Are you trying to paint to match or just use a black? Is your truck black? I'be heard that a plain ol' gloss black looks the same underneath as the Ford tuxedo black...

I"m going to get the touch up paint jusy because if the straight black doesent come out just right ... I don't want to have to buy another set of taillights because the black doesent match the tuxcedo black.
When I bought my truck I thought the bumpers were plain black but since then I have noticed they are also Tux black.

The plain rustoleum black is what I used with my Tuxedo black truck and it looks fine. Check out your b-pillars, they are plain black. At least mine are.

Looks good on the Bronze. I was bored again today. This was quite an adventure for me.

I need some suggestions. And I know there are plenty of them around theses forums. I have a dark blue pearl metallic on the way, and the HD tails are in my garage waiting. I'm contemplating painting the edges. Question is... do I color match them to the dark blue or use black? I'm also considering just using the nightshades paint to simply make the edges not stand out so much. Thanks for any input.
