Wanting to put a painted handle on my truck instead of the black plastic one. Mine doesn't have the number pad on it, and I want to avoid (if I can help it) putting on a number pad that won't work. Parts guy I'm talking to in the vendor section is having trouble finding one. Does anyone know if Ford makes a painted-to-match door handle that doesn't have the keypad, or does anyone have one? If so, could you post or PM your VIN so I can send it along to the parts guy?

pretty sure the answer is no, all the paint to match handles have the keypad.

You probably could sand down the plastic one and paint it.

Or possibly the rear handle (driver's side) from a Screw might fit the front door, but it doens't have any keyhole, so you could be screwed if your battery ever dies and you couldn't get in your truck. But at least there would be no keyhole for a thief to try to punch out.

I still don't think they have any, because all of the truck models with painted handles (FX2, FX4, Lariat, KR, Plat, Harley, Limited) each have the keypad.

I work in parts and what they are saying is true. Painted comes with keypad only.

I too work in parts and I concur, all PTM handles have the keypad on them.
