Paint missing
Was getting ready to wax my truck for the first time. I bought in September and have had so much fun with it. I tend to wash it when I had time and if it was real dirty. But when I was looking it over before I was getting ready to wax it I notice that on the lower corner of the bed near the door it was missing paint. It looked like the robot just stopped short of it and it's just black specks on the gray primer. Wtf so I started to look a lil harder and saw on the bottom of the tail gate it's missing paint. I feel so stupid I didn't notice it at the dealership. But now I've had the truck for 7 months and wonder if I'm screwed. The worst part i bought the truck in NoVa and live 1-1/2 hours away from that dealer. This is my very first new truck and don't know what to do.
Do I have to take it back to the same dealer ?
Is it gonna cost me anything?
Any suggestion would be a big help.

Take it to a dealer you trust. It's covered under warranty mine had the same thing. They basically just used touch up paint as mine was just missing the corners but if yours is more visible they may repaint the tailgate.

Shouldn't make any difference how many miles.
Factory defects will be fixed, just make the trip back to the dealer.
Should be obvious that paint was never applied.

There are tons of threads on this. And yes^^^ like everyone before me stated, its all covered under warranty. Seems like the 11's and 12's have this problem. After reading lots of threads on this I obviously scoured my 2010...and thank god I have all my paint.
Check under your doors too. In the jambs. Seems like that's another common spot
