Nevermind im going to replace the vct sprockets. any advice about the vvt selonoids?

I would do the solenoids too. But it's easy for me to spend your money.

Everytime we have done a chain job on a Ford OHC V8 and didn't replace EVERYTHING it came back to bite just like it did you when they didn't replace the VCT's so that's my default position.

PS You need to use a different dealer service department. I don't care where you buy it but don't use them for service.

I finally got the parts in and.... There was 2 bolts missing from the timing cover
