Check the actual Goodyear website. It lists them as P

P rating is a speed rating . it is NOT a load rating. E is the load rating.

Does it not affect the load rating? Sidewall?

I see them listed with a "S" speed rating.

I believe the P= Passenger tire like the stock OEM tires where as LT= Light Truck tires which are heavier.
Obviously the P class tires do have a lower weight handling rating as they are passenger tires.
The LT tires will get you into the E load which is heavier sidewalls and well heavier tires so less mpg but better towing.

The P speed rating would only be 94 mph so I don't think that is correct.
Just my thoughts

P-metric is a passenger car tire where as a P-rated tire is a speed rating. its hard to understand if you don't deal with tires all the time. but most of the time when someone says its a p-metric or if the tire has a (P) in its size like this (P255/70r/17) its a passenger tire and not a speed rating.

P = When a tire size begins with a "P," it signifies the tire is a "P-metric" size that was designed to be fitted on vehicles that are primarily used as passenger vehicles. This includes cars, minivans, sport utility vehicles and light duty pickup trucks (typically 1/4- and 1/2-ton load capacity).

I don't know why everyone flocks to these Duratracs...theres a pile of better tires available to truck owners.

What other tires are you thinking of? I am looking at the P275/60/20 Duratracs right now.

I went with General Grabber AT2 in a P rating and they ride smooth with great traction. BF Goodrich is coming out with a new all terrain TA and they also have the rugged terrain TA, Yokohama geolander, Falken wildpeak, or a Kumho road venture.
Those duratracs remind me of something that should be on a Utility Truck, fixing telephone lines or something.

heres the kumho tire
