After a week with the SSA28 springs I have a couple of observations.
First, even on the 'looser' hole the rear end is lifted up just a little, because I was using the dump trailer the last couple of days, and I can see in my rearview mirror that the front is lifted up just a little - I'd guess about 3/4"
That the rubber/urethane pad hasn't moved, and I've been on some nasty washboards. Funny though, the way the bolts come up in the center of the spring, the pad cannot sit exactly in the middle, it has to be a little to one side or the other. I wonder why they don't take the round bulge out of the middle, and just have about a 3/8" lip down each side.
