Thank you!
Honestly, it isn't hard at all..... But a steady hand & careful measuring to make sure it's centered & level (that's the reason why I made a card stock paper template exact to size) to mock up the location one would be happy with.... Then use a marker to cut the opening. Just make sure to cut slightly above the line as there is indeed some margin of error, so it drops in place the first time.
Of course cutting the headliner needs a steady hand, and a very sharp razor and simply take your time. (Don't do this right after drinking 3 cups of coffee! Lol).
Thank man... You do have a hell of a set up on your truck both inside & out! .... & I totally respect that! Thanks & kudos to your set up as well!

Thank you!
Yes, at the moment I'm in process of taking this to the next step. Since I'm not set up as a "vendor" on here (which means paying the monthly fee and applied rules)...
I will say that I have a dozen switch plates completed... And have a supply of switches already on hand... (Working on stocking the cable-which I can purchase thru my work)...
Also working on a 4 switch panel. And also working on a 6 panel switch plate with 3/4 and also a 5/8 hole for other switch options as there are some cool LED ones in those sizes too!
But... I have to get things all in place...
I would feel safe to say at this early time that I can help a F150 brother out until I take it to that next step.
Options will include switch plate only... And/or the switches & wiring too!
Many may find switches cheaper & have access to running & purchasing their own wire.

Many options are possible & what ever is cheapest to ALL of us, is a win win situation! So options will be there to help & also be economical, but at the highest possible quality.

If there is any early interest before that next step, ... I could be contacted directly at lethalweapon09@yahoo.com especially if anyone has technical questions and wanting any updates until that next step is ready.
Please keep in mind that I work throughout the day, but I will answer any & all later on in the evening when I get home from work (or possibly on my lunch break during the day if I can)... But I'll reply back to you!
There are more things in mind, but first things first.

Please keep in mind that this will be a "Some Assembly Required" mod . if you would want the exact set up, All parts can be provided to help your project. To keep any costs down (and liability, as well) I'd rather not solder your wiring & switches for you.

You want the switch plate only? No problem! .... Do you want the Switch plate and all switches? No problem!
Many have access to their own switches (double check the size as they are a smaller type rocker switch), or maybe you have a bunch of your own wiring that you'd rather use & save money? Definitely & totally understandable!

Thanks guys! I appreciate your input & interest & just happy to help a fellow F150 member on here!

Can you make me a blank black panel? I am thinking one day, if I ever sell my truck, I would take what I have out and sell it and put a blank up there to replace it with. It needs to be black and black screws to match the interior.

I can definitely do that for you! No problem at all!
When I'm ready to start doing the next batch, (may be a few weeks), the first step is drilling the holes. Then he uses those bolt holes to bolt the panel in his jig to do the perimeter shape & then the edge... Then the final step is cutting the switch rectangular holes. (We'll skip that last step for ya!) Then it will get anodized all at the same time.
Simple enough brother! Give me a few weeks & I'll take care of you!

Approx ETA: 3-4 weeks.
Gotta work out further details & options.
I'll keep you posted
for a 4 switch panel I might be good to mount the switches horizontally instead. they'll fill up more of the empty space.

If I can get it blank as well that would be good. I have round switches already and i can drill the holes myself, save yourself a step

Awesome idea! That's what my guy said too!
We're going to look at both ways to see what looks natural of the switches Vertical vs Horizontal.
He even said the if we bring the whole unit shorter overall (by about an 1 1/2" shorter), then slightly spread the distances of the switches apart from each other, that may put it all back in proportion & still look natural in place mounted up there and not look "too small" or "out of place". He's going to work on it, on the CAD computer program that they use. It really gives a great view of the finished product!
We'll definitely see which way looks best, but I'm sure it will look good!
