Default Over under on Sirius

My free six months expired and they shut me off today.

What is the over under on when they will email or snail mail me the $25 offer?

I say 1 week. What do you think?

I still get mail about the radio that was in my old truck. For whatever reason their customer service people cannot comprehend that I do not own the truck anymore. I have spoken to them a few times about my credit from cancelling that radio. IIRC they are holding $65 bucks of mine.

I only owned my 2010 for just for a week and I started getting offers. I get one a week now for the last two months. I doubt I will pay to listen to the radio unless it is dirt cheap.

I just tried to renew at a lower rate. They weren't having it. I'll cancel a few days before renewal and then the 'we want you back, here's a deal' mail starts coming in. I paid about 1/2 price for last year.

Mine expired and no promotions for a month or so so I called in. They tried telling me the 6 months for 25 wasn't available I told them they had one shot to earn my business or I will not sign up. Made it 23 years without Sirius I can go back to regular radio and after a little back and forth they put a manger on and he did it.

I don't have their sub numbers or anything. But, they seem terribly inefficient. Maybe the deal I got was for newbs. Any other subscription I have, if I call and tell them I want to cancel, they clamor for my business.

I called directv and said I wanted a cheaper bill, they knocked like $40 a month for the next year.

I doubt I'll renew even if they send a decent offer.

Just be careful, if you take one of their promotion periods and pay with a credit card they may renew automatically at the full rate once your promotion ends. Make sure to cancel or pay via another method before auto-renewal.
