Default From the ouside looking in.......

If I were an other brand owner/driver and happen upon this site I might surmise that Ford builds junk for vehicles. I've been driving Ford products all of my adult life with relatively few issues and have read about most of the complaints in the last few years. What is the cat-hairs going on? I know I can't compare all of the trucks to mine but I've had 0 issue with my 2010 Screw. I surely hope the complaints here aren't representative of all of the Ford F150's. It kind of make me wonder if expectations may be a bit too high.

I completely agree. I've got a 2011 ecoboost with no issues at all, I love it. I think it's just that more people want to speak out and complain or get help with their issues than simply praise their trucks so that's why that's all that seems to come up.

Complainers shout more loudly than the satisfied.

For those with trucks with no issues, sure it must seem like there are people complaining. But ****, put yourselves in somebody else's shoes. It's ridiculous that people are COMPLAINING about people having complaints. The issues are serious issues most of the time and Ford doesn't do much to help these truck owners out. Yes, Ashley getting you in contact with a regional CSM is nice, but resolutions would be nicer. Don't you have better things to do? Like maybe wash your perfect, problem-free, truck? Anything?

I have a 2013 F150 FX4, and other than a very minor whistling sound when driving above 60mph, I have absolutely no problems with my truck, and I love it.

No one is complaining, he was just making an observation...

I disagree. Having a solid forum to discuss issues is one of the reasons I got the F150. IMO a car forum isn't designed for everyone to just make a bunch of posts praising their car. It is so 1 person can post an issue or question and others can post answers/resolutions. I had a GMC Sierra before my F150 and anytime I had an issue (often) I felt helpless because there wasn't a huge community like there is for the F150. Any issue or question I've ever had for my truck is a search away from being answered on this forum.

This is obvious... I agree 100 percent. That's why this thread is DUMB.

I would have to agree, from the outside it looks bad, but keeping an open mind its actually a very narrow set of problems considering the number of members here. And a good bit of them have had some form of a fix such as the shuddering when loaded.. and there's some stuff that's gonna happen with any kind of metal bolted together 'pops' I work on jets do you have any idea how many odd sounds show up and everything is actually fine?!

But that's what the forum is for to voice a concern and see who can help. As well as bey look at my truck or I found this cool trick! I think its being used just as it should and as with any high volume selling vehicle there will always be the ones that expect "perfect" thankfully I ha went had any problems yet but in a few years I expect something to show and I'll drive this truck til the wheels fall of them I'll slap 'em back on and drive it some more!

All I can say is keep it rolling guys and take care of the truck and don't expect it to never break and they won't disappoint.
