Options for replacing fog lights with driving lights
I have a 2014 with HID main headlights, and they have very abrupt cut offs, and are useless for doing tight turns, sideways they cut off abruptly, so there is no light, and the fogs don't reach. Big issue in the mountains, find myself hanging a flashlight out the window, but in the winter that gets a might bit cold.
What sort of legal driving light replacement options are out there for the stock fog lights?
Another option would be to add new driving lights?
Thoughts?
On a side note, I don't really like the low CRI (color rendering index) of the HIDs either, it takes away from the gain in brightnes. Basically the scene ahead has more washed out "color", and especially lacking in the browns. Result is you loose the color contrast, which helps with discrimination. Notice things like deer in the brush are much less obvious, but once they are on the blacktop, the HIDs certainly light them up...
Anyone sell a high CRI HID replacement bulb?

See the lines in the lens? You have standard flood beam Duallys which are not DOT approved.

Hey, really hate to say this, but those aren't the DOT approved Duallys. Your lens is clear. They should look like this:

So I ended up getting one of those burly bumpers, the cans in the bumper are 5.5" in diameter. Does this open up possibilities? What options for road legal fogs are out there? Remember I want to fill in what the HIDs miss (really annoying).

Got the bumper mounted. This should help with not having another buck cause 4.5 K of damage again.
These are the cans I am trying to fill with road legal fogs and driving lights:
