I'm curious as to the glare. Never had it with my stock small ones and with the tow mirrors I dint either. I do have tinted windows but even before that there was no glare.

That's the beauty of the rows I guess. You can have convex for blind spot and then adjust the larger ones more outward to prevent glare.

Absolutely love my Tow Mirrors. They change the entire look of the truck. It looks a lot beefier. I do tow a center console that's wider than all hell so it's a requirement, but I would have them even if I didn't tow anything.

Having just driven my newly purchased 2011 Platinum with Tow Mirrors, having previously driven a 2009 Platinum with standard-sized auto-dimming mirrors, I can say for me that the nighttime glare was quite noticeable and distracting. I hope tinting my side windows will help, but in all honesty, I think I'm going to go ahead and swap to standard-sized mirrors.

I really did enjoy the larger field of view offered by the Tow Mirrors, and the Mickey Mouse look is beginning to not look so bad. But since I don't tow anything appreciable, and I now have to be careful around structures and signs, as well as it forces me farther away from drive-thru's as they're manually folding, the cons outweigh the pros.

I'll probably hold on to the tow mirrors in storage, just in case I ever do really need them...

I just put the towing mirrors on my 2013 F-150 and they help 100% pulling a 102" enclosed snowmobile trailer. Now I can see down the sides of the trailer. they'll help this summer with the boat also.
thanks.

I like the look of the tow mirrors, and I havent had any problems with glare. They do make the truck look beefier, thats for sure.

I added tow mirrors to mine too. Don't notice not having the auto dim. Only thing I find is backing up at night for some reason seems harder than with the standard mirrors. Even with my led floods in the back.

I would really love to get the PowerScope mirrors as that could solve the problems I have with clearance and auto-folding, but I've read some serious complaints about the passenger side mirror that it's "demagnified" and therefore basically useless and potentially dangerous. This is with both the 1A Auto aftermarket and the original Ford PowerScopes.

I don't care for the look of them on half tons, but I'm in the minority.
They do come in handy if you tow enclosed trailers or campers.
