Another thing I would like some opinions on is whether you think my stock 3.31 gears can handle the bigger tire or if I should upgrade my gears? I plan on getting tires that are close to 35, but will be a bit smaller than 35x12.5.

What do you think?

I'd get a new truck and start over with what you really want in the first place.

Getting into a new truck really isn't one of my choices at this point cause I know there is no way I would get enough trade-in to go towards the purchase of a new truck and even be close to the same payment.

Trust me, if I honestly knew that I could take my truck to any dealer and get a new FX4, then I would do that and call it a day.

I gotcha.

Why didn't you get a fx4 when you got the lariat? It sounds like you really wanted a fx4 based on the mods you want to do

The truck that I got was because it was a really good deal and hard to pass up at that time. I wanted to get the FX4, but they didn't have one on the lot in my price range and also I searched for a couple of months at many places and just came up with nothing.

I thought about even getting just the FX2 cause having 4x4 wasn't that big of a deal to me and I liked the way the FX2 looked based off of the badging and so forth, but once again they just had so many that were with the "appearance" package that it was virtually impossible to get one at my price range that I was looking for at that time.

The thing for me is that I don't mind buying the upgrades to my truck. I love it the thing to death and I'm really happy to have even bought a brand new truck. The thing runs great, sounds great, and the MPG is ok with me.

But I am just like everyone else and usually feel it can either look, sound, or run better and of course it can with certain upgrades, but I guess opinions always help determine my final choice cause to me I would be happy with anything I put on the truck.

It's just nice when you get out of the truck and people really just stare in awwww that your truck is that badass.
