Default Opinions - 20x14 vs 22x12 wheels

Alright everyone, quick questionIt’s coming to the point where I’m ready to switch up my wheel and tire setup. I’m wanting to switch over to either a 20x14 or 22x12 rim, with 35 inch tires. I know that wide rims and having the tires stick out of the fenders isn’t for everybody,, I understand that. But I love it, and all I’m asking for is opinions on the two options.
I’m on a 6” lift with Bilstein 5100’s in front (7.5” total lift), with 20x9’s and 37’s. I’ve ran 20x12’s, 37’s, and 1.5” wheel spacers, so I know all about running a wide setup. Here’s my current setup and my previous

The next pics are of my options. The first 3 are going to be 20x14’s with 35” tires, and the second 3 are going to be 22x12’s and 35” tires

(I’m not sure if the owner of these trucks are on the Forum, if they are I would love to know!)
Any opinions are welcome, please just no bashing!

Thank you!

I am not a fan when the off road tire sidewall is bowed out like in the first couple. Since most off road 35/37" tires don't run wider than 12.5" wide, I would stick under that so you don't have that look. Otherwise I don't mind the look of wider tires like the last couple of pictures. I prefer more off road protection (rocks and stuff hitting my wheels and scratching them) so that is why I don't like the sidewall bowed out look. It appears you may do some off roading so think about that and your new wheels.

What width tire? Unless you're running over a 12-12.5" wide tire, you'll be better off with 9" or 10" wheels or even 8" if you've got the sidewall for it.

I agree. Those setups are not for off-road, they are for showing off to people I don't understand. Do they even make a strong 22" rim? I think they are all street rims.

Whats your goal?
