Really 1091 lbs???. Mine says 1793 lbs or 1791 lbs. I loaded a full wet load of topsoil I don't know what it weighed, but the Living Earth folks (the soil places all over Texas) said not an issue. I drove ~55 MPH for ~10 miles +/- on the hwy. It was no issue. I went back for 2 more loads that weekend.

Make sure the tires are in good shape, and like others have mentioned ask them to load towards the cab.

I know I'm doubling my capacity. My question is, will I be able to carry this without causing damage to truck?

Tires are LTX MS2 if it matters.

How much do 20 cases of beer weigh?

should be close to 350-400 lbs.

But, there's only one way to know for sure.

Psh no! Drink nothing but beer for a week and keep all your urine in a kiddie pool to weigh later, duh.

That's the white trash method anyway . . .

That's a clear violation. In the future, assuming you really had beer (and not BMC), you should ask me to drive the beer to Chicago for you to be safer. It should arrive in a timely manner...

I usually go to places that have a small bucket on their loader and my box is lined with linex...so all is good

20 cases of beer loaded right at the back of the box lol. Didn't help things. Had a bit of a "Cali lean" goin on down the highway. And my one buddy got whiskey instead of beer. so it was 5 cases each (the max you can bring across the border)

Now Im curious and ill have to see what my door sticker says.

Right now I have 4 large wheel barrel loads of wet dirt in the back. I have one or two more to add then ill be taking it out to my parents place. Defiantly the heaviest load ive hauled in this truck (only had it for a couple months)
