Sorry to hear about the damage. I guess I have been blessed in the wife/driving department. The only thing she has hit was a wooden survey stick that I placed along our parking pad at our last home. It was right at the edge of a steep embankment, so I put up survey sticks with reflective paint to help her out (and keep the SUV's shiny side up).

I think you might want to consider an upgrade to the power fold mirrors. I am, for the same reason.

Good luck on the repair
Oh come on! catching the mirror on the garage door opening can happen to anyone. Especially if she dont drive the truck every day.
The standard 16 foot door is too small for both my Mustang & F-150 being kept in the garage. Although I have never caught a mirror YET, it does come very close. Thankfully my F-150 has power fold mirrors, I love that option.

My wife has damaged one of my vehicles only once in 48 years of marriage. But that was last week when she scrunched the passenger side chrome step bar on my 2012 SCrew.
Trying to locate one too.

Give her a hug and get it replaced. Make sure she drives it soon AND never bring it up again. Also, all the vehicles in our household are OUR vehicles not mine or hers.

It can happen to the best of us! I just did it to my passenger side last week!!!!

Tasca parts was the best deal I could find for OEM.

This is good advice. Probably will be a contributing factor to a long and happy marriage.
