Don't be a troll! Go find a bridge to hang out under. Wheel and rim are completely interchangeable.

I've been called literally speaking on a few forums. Trolling?!? No I just can't stand stupidity!!!! Education seems to be a lost art,...lost in communication.

Should we call a car a truck? Should we call a cell phone a popsicle? There are reasons things have names so proctologists don't shove a wheel up our asses instead of the scope they use. If you like to be ignorant that's fine but let the rest of the less intelligent people living on this rock KNOW what's getting put where shall we?

You can take a wheel off a vehicle, You cannot take a wheel off a rim or a tire as they are one and the same. Look it up.

You see these two machines? Both in my garage, The one on the left is used to mount tires on rims, the one on the right is used to balance wheels which just happens to be a tire mounted on a rim... WOW go figure that huh?.

An Explorer is an suv. I had one of those as well.

Don't set off my Id 10 t error detector please, it's overloaded as is.

Straight from Tirerack.com: The hub is the center portion of the wheel and is what attaches the wheel to the suspension. The spokes radiate out from the hub and attach to the rim. The rim is the outer part of the wheel that holds the tire. While many people refer to wheels as "rims," this is technically incorrect.

How long if anytime have you been in the industry of repairing automotive? How many training classes and years have you spent devoting your life to automotive repair? Been doing it for the better part of 35 years now and I think I know what each device is called, The internet wasn't even invented yet when I started my career.

Do you also advise NASA what to call their components of space travel because you think you know? Now all of a sudden I'm supposed to set aside 35 years of training because some website says so? LMFAO. I have a special place in my heart for people like you.

Probably not a good idea to rely on a retailers website.

https://www.thefreedictionary.com/car+wheel hub caps not included.
