Default Online wheels and tires

Interested in new 24inch wheels and online prices are definitely less than local prices, anyone ever bought online wheels and tires? Good or bad experiences?

I've bought many tires and rims online, nothing but good experiences. Ebay, Jegs, Tirerack etc.

I bought my wheels and tires from discounttiredirect.com online. They were delivered to my door mounted and balanced.

Just to clarify Wheel = Rim + Tire. Unless you buy a Michelin Tweel, all one piece. http://www.michelintweel.com/

EDIT: I see they haven't released the line of automotive tweels yet. Oh well it's not far off I suspect.

24" is a small tire, I had a 10 speed bike with 26" tires. 24" rim is a big rim.

I got my wheels and tires off of EBAY for my F-150, Ebay for my infiniti, and Ebay for my Acura (several times). To be quite honest I have never purchased wheels from a store unless I was replacing a bent or cracked wheel. Never had an issue.

How do you bend a tire? You can't, you can however bend a rim with a tire mounted on it. Lets not proliferate the dumbing down of yours or future generations by forgetting what an object is called shall we?

Rim = the object you mount a tire on.
Tire = the object that you mount on a rim.
Wheel = The combined devices that supports the vehicle it is mounted on.

Any questions?
