My wife had the oil changed at a lube shop and the guy who put on the oil filter must have overtightened it and stripped the threads on the filter. He was able to resnug it just enough to hold the oil in. This was fine when the engine was warm but after she sat overnight and the wife took the car out the next day all the oil blew out of her about a hundred yards down the road. I always check stuff like that after every service now.

I wouldn't even think to take a new 2011 to a quicky lube place till I was at least out of warranty

First oil change and filter is for free at the dealership, after that I do my own oil changes. No way I would go a Jiffy Lube shop --------->

It wasn't my 2011 F-150 that went to that lube shop. It was an older Sebring I owned. I still like to look things over afterwards even if I have my Ford dealer look at it. I'm just glad she was just up the street when it happened and not 50 miles up the road.

I've had my truck two weeks now. My one complaint would be the sound system. You'd think with all the other technology Ford could put a decent radio in the XLT.

Unless I am stupid, I can't figure how to make the 1-6 show up forever on the instrument panel. This is one thing I really like. I would love to be able to turn off selective things that I am not interested in. Would like a dash like a pc that you could select things and move them around. In my opinion the dsah is WAY to busy on the F150.It is pretty though.I would alao like to kick the guy in the ***s that designed the sounds for the door open alarm thing.

I can reach the dipstick no problem also but I just think its a very dumb location lol
What would be the reason for shipping the truck one liter low? Curious to know if they do this with other fluids?
