this is the first i have heard of this bug screen, and for $20, i sounds like a pretty good thing to do. anyone have any complaints about it?

I bet you could make something just as good with supplies from the hardware store for a lot less money. In fact, you could probably get enough stuff for $20 that you could make enough to just replace it every couple weeks or after a long trip, instead of having to clean it?

Hello there!

I am a DBS team member - very happy to see DBS customers here! =) I was wondering if I could use your picture and testimonial on our website? If so, please email me at danbar@dbugscreen.com. Thank you!

You can use my testimonial.....and for the price, I find it unlikely somebody could build one at home including the eyelets, bungees, etc. I have had a DBS on my 2010 F150 5.4 l 4x4 since new. Just shy of 4 years of service without and problem. I just got rid of the DBS. Not because the product is bad but, because I traded the truck. The screen could have been re-used on my new truck (in perfect condition) but, I purchased a new Ecoboost and fitment is different. I will be ordering a DBS for the new truck as well.

^Ironken, would you be interested in selling your old one?

I had a piece of window screen in front the radiator on my old truck. It worked great but the motor ran a little warm in the summer, with the ac on and going up hills. So I removed it. Not sure if it made a difference but I was trying to lower the engine temp a little.

I would like to install one on my current truck though. I may look into that DBS.
