Default OK...what is the bug shield that just hangs in front of the radiator called?

I have tried a search here and Googled several different variations on "radiator bug shield" and all I am getting are results for the hard plastic ones that fasten to the top, front of the hood....
I'm looking for the sheet that just hangs in front of the radiator and intercepts the bugs from impacting the radiator....a little help here? thanks in advance, folks!

You mean the plastic flap that actually hangs down under the front of the truck? I believe it's just an air damn. If I'm not mistaken, it actually helps to create a vacuum in the engine bay while driving to pull air through the radiator more efficiently.

Why would you want to cut off air flow to your radiator? From what you explained, that's what it sounds like it will do!

Well, they are very porous and I don't think that they cut airflow....they are an open plastic mesh -- the bugs hit that instead of imbedding themselves deep into the crevasses of your radiator and condenser......you hang them at the corners of the radiator brace....
