You also need to quit changing your oil at 4,000 miles. Even the manual says 7,500 on semi-synthetic.

I use Amsoil and run it to about 10,000 miles. If I used their filter I would have no issue going with their 15,000 mile oci. Buuutttt....fl500s is cheap.

There are some exceptions. If I had an Ecoboost with gassy smelling oil, I would change it closer to 4k miles instead of 7500 miles.

I use Amsoil 5w30 sig series in my Eco and change at 6000 miles. PP would be my second choice if I wasn't and Amsoil dealer.
