Default OIL Rankings!

Read a survey on top 40 motor oils. To my surprise #1 was Valvoline. Mobil one was #2 and a big shock Mororcraft. ( which I've been using ) was # 18. Amzoil finished # 6 which also surprised me! Guess I'll start buying Valvoline Durablend at Fleet farm for $4.99 qt. From now on

I wouldn't personally switch oil brands based on one companies survey results. I think the Motorcraft oil is a high quality oil and change my oil in greater frequency.

Those Share ranks results seem to be based on popularity, not on any scientific analysis. Just a bunch of crap

I need to quit reading junk on the Internet! I change my oil every 4000 miles with motor craft semi-synthetic from Walmart so I shouldn't even worry about it. I always have 55 to 60% left when I change anyway!

If they say so it must be true?

Do some of your own research rather than letting people on forums sway you in either direction. They repeat what they hear other people say and the cycle continues.

People's opinions are not facts that can be substantiated.
