Question Driver side front turn signal - no power - Stumped

I'm having an issue I can't quite figure out so turning to everyone else for their expertise.

I have a 2012 f-150 xlt 4x4 and recently the drivers side front turn signal stopped working. A little background - I have LED switchbacks wired in with load resistors which have been working flawlessly for the past few months. The passenger side is still working perfectly. The issue began and I noticed I would get 2-3 normal speed flashes, and then go into hyperflash mode. I know normally it would be a bulb is out, but I have checked all bulbs, and the rear turn signals ignite, along with the side mirror.

I have changed bulbs to a known working bulb, checked fuses, took out the LED and load resistor component, replaced the multi-function switch, but have no 12v power to the green-yellow striped wire in the turn signal bulb holder. I've read it could be something with the BCM but wanted to see if anyone else has had a fix or this issue before. From my understanding the BCM can shut down a specific circuit if it detects issues, and requires a reset from the dealer. However, when I called the service people to chat with them, they were confused and hadn't ever heard of an issue like this. As I am well out of warranty, I wanted to get everyones input.

When you pull down on the turn signal stalk, does the green arrow flash on the instrument cluster?

Yes, it flashes but it is the hyperflash.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery and letting it sit for awhile? I don't think it will do anything but it is worth a shot.

I read this in the thread where someone was having a dome light issue but there is no determination if the BCM protects that circuitry. Without hooking it up to IDS you might be grasping at straws to find an easy repair. It sounded like after the BCM hit the limits of events a module replacement was required.

I'm hoping it's something that is a simple reset. I'm out of warranty and can't even imagine what the cost of a new BCM is.

So a little update. Went to the dealer yesterday who said they saw the error in the BCM but as soon as they reset it, it would kick back the same error again. They re-enabled my daytime running lights, and since then power has returned to the circuit and everything functions correctly again. Pain in the $#%. Now they have to figure out how to Disable the DRL like I had originally wanted, and hopefully they can figure it out without screwing the circuit back up. Very strange.

any further update on this? I have the same issue and had the LED switchbacks with resistors. Worked for about six months. Now I have hyper flash and no power to the DRL's/turn signals on the front. Suspecting bcm as well. Cut out the resistors and regardless no power to the circuits.

So a little update. I have used FORScan to connect to the truck. I have been able to disable the DRL again, and completely eliminate the hyperflash through the BCM, but the driver side turn signal still shows nothing. I do have an error which reads the driver has been shutdown, so that might be why. I am going to look at resetting the driver to see what happens.
