I'm not a professional nor a rep, and I don't understand enough to argue the merits of one vs. the other, but it seems obvious that the issue is likely to do with the design of the full race vs. the can.

Your configuration is actually the first catch can I've seen that's configured that way. Looks more like it should be called a "catch rectangle"

I have a catch can from Stage 3 motorsports and it catches a TON of stuff when the weather changes. Looks just like what Albi1Cnobi1 has in his, same amount too when I empty mine.

I was hoping this wouldn't become another catch can debate thread. Like I said, my turbo inlet is dry. I see no signs of new oil there after the install of the catch can. I have not checked my intercooler or blowoff valve (both stock) for signs of oil. It has only been installed for 2,000 miles. When I installed it at about 60,000, I had a little oil buildup in the intercooler and on some of the sensors. I cleaned it all off and out. Only time will tell. My mechanic is going to be installing the UPR, so I will wait to see his results.

I also don't drive my truck super hard, I ease into it and try to be easy on the gas and always use premium gas. I have read that could contribute to the lack of blowby.

I'd hardly say a can debate has been started lol. So you're switching to a different style catch can? Did I understand correctly?

Doing a quick search on full race catch can will explain the reason in much more detail then I care to go into right now.
Few will be objective enough to entertain the hypothesis of taking a gas, and moving it to a much cooler location, where the physical property of the gas is turned into a liquid. With two test cases, one can kept in warm location, another can in respective cold location and findings that vary in result.

It was the beginnings of a debate. Hahaha. I'm not planning to switch at the moment. I have a friend who will be installing a UPR can. I will keep an eye on how that turns out.

I have the full race catch can and to take full advantage you have to get rid of the check valves, so it`s always vent even under boost or not, I have had mine on since last Feb. and i couldn`t believe the crap it was catching, basically any where from 1/2 to 3/4 of 20oz pop bottle every 3 weeks when it was cold out, but when the outside temps go up the gunk goes away.

How many miles do you drive every week? Just curious. I did gut the PCV valve, so that's not my issue.
