Default Oh yeah, I have a center speaker!... dooope!

I've had my 13 Platinum w the SONY 700 watt system for 7 months now and as soon as I got it I placed a 6x4 pad of paper and a hat over what I now know is my center channel speaker on the dash... Never understood why it didn't sound right and happened to remove those two items earlier and BAM! Adjusted the midrange all the way up and now have a totally different sound in the cab. Anyways, thought I'd share my goof-up.

Here's the speaker...

Don't feel bad. I was constantly pulling my rear view mirrors in so I could fit in my garage. Then one day I was cleaning the inside of it and accidently hit the auto folding button and saw the mirrors fold in. I was like a kid on Christmas morning. Now I hit that button all the time.

Good one! I love my power folding mirrors, I park under a carport and used to have to put down my drivers side window in the rain to pull my mirror in daily in my 04 Lariat.

Why would you turn the midrange all the way up? Sounds like poo like that, IMO. I have my bass +2, mid -1, treble +3...just my preference, but most EQ curves for music will be shaped somewhat like a U, with mids lower than lows and highs.

Are the power fold mirrors only power to fold in and then you have to manually fold back out or do mine not work correctly?

Mine are power both ways. I think you have an issue.

You click the mirror adjustment **** in the same direction to open them as you did to close them. If that doesn't work then yes, something is wrong...

I'm 95% sure I tried that and all it does is click and pop. I'll try again after work. Hope I'm just retarded and was doing it wrong. I dread using my local stealership as they are fairly incompetent.
