I know a way............... Buy a 2011 and push the t/c button that says off. From all that I have read on the forum 09-10 it comes back on at 30 mph. This has been discussed many many times

I did a write up awhile back. I added a relay and switch so I could shut my t/c completely off.

Default curious

why? i gather there's a problem with it, but i don't have it on my 2000 f150, so I have no experience. I'm curious as to what's wrong with tc on the newer trucks...

thanks

What do you mean when you say it turns back on after 30? The 11's reactivate after 30 but shut back off under 30. The light stays on the whole time. Are you saying yours turns back on and stays on? I'd like to make it so it defaulted off or atleast I didn't have to hold the button for so long. I do find it handy sometimes when the roads are extremely icy.

You can hold it and it shuts off but after 30 mph it turns itself back on and stays on not much else to say.
