I don't want to take the OP's thread off track & will do a new thread (probably in the classified section when they're publicly for sale).

But the stock for orders will probably be back from the Anodizer in a week. (He's on vaca right now).
But the panel itself IS aluminum (not plastic) and anodized black.
Without switches, they will cost $19.95. (Free USA shipping)....

I also am now stocking exclusively the OTRATTW switches too. (Only the SPST -on-off switches) and about 15 of the most popular rockers with the F-150 & a couple novelty too. They will be the Contura V & also the new Contura XIV.
Depending on led choice, they'll range approx $15-$17 each (they'll be just slightly cheaper to forum members compared to online).
These are genuine Carling rockers... The best out there.
Slight Modification is required the plastic inner dash for fitment for ALL 3 to comfortably fit in.
(That right side of the cubby was a dumb mistake by Ford, but easy enough to modify the plastic with a Dremel to make them fit).

Removal of the trim piece will be required, un bolting the Pass side airbag, and an afternoon to complete..
You can email me directly at: lethalweapon09@yahoo.com so we don't clutter this thread with more info you maybe interested in before theyre ready to ship.
But here's a couple more pics of the prototype I did to verify fitment & any easy mods that was necessary for the instruction sheet & personal knowledge to know that it WILL work!
Pics:

Unfortunately these new panels do not.
(Only the Pass side "cubby" only).
But... I may have to look into that in the future if there's enough demand.
Not sure what models/years have them & which do not.
(Keep you posted).

from 2009-14 they all have them if you do not have the trailer brake controller installed. That's what goes on the drivers side. The opening's themselves should be identical, minus whats actually inside the cubby area, which the passenger has that hump.

Ah! Gotcha!!!
My 2009 had it, but my 2011 didn't (nor my current 2013) but the last 2 had the TBC.
My sons truck has a TBC ..... But my 76 year old father's 2012 does not.
I'll have to look at his truck....& sounds like I just publicly announced whose truck will be the guennea pig!! Lol!
(Thanks Dad!) lol!!
Will keep all posted in a few weeks!

I never really used the cig lighter and there is already a 12v plug up b the airbag.
Got the switches from the local auto parts store...one red LED and one blue
I did the same thing. Just one blue switch on the right side. Got tired of messing with the 12v outlet. Love the look of it because it really blends in.

Still have the wiring to do and lights to buy, but the switches are mounted in the driver side cubby in place of the trailer brake controller.

Very nice! This is the best place for them if you don't have the trailer brake controller.
