OEM HID Wiring

OEM HID Wiring
I purchased a set of FX4 2013 HID headlights and decided to make my own relay harness vs buying one that was complete. Here's the wiring info needed to do it yourself.
Parts needed:
H13 Relay harness from The Retrofit Source
WPT925 pigtail from National Fleet Parts (cheapest place I found at $18 each)
Wire loom (I purchased 10 ft at Lowe's for less than $3)
Two inline 20 amp fuses ($2 each at Radio Shack)
Primary automotive wire (I purchased a 50 ft roll of 16 guage wire on eBay for $10)
Wire terminal ends
Electrical tape (I prefer to use 3M Super 33+, but you can use the cheap stuff)
The pigtail comes with heat shrink tubing, but I bought a small pack to use if I ran into any issues.
I had about $85 into it after buying the parts that I needed. It took about 1.5 hours to complete it, but if I were to do it again it would be much faster.
You'll need to run a wire from the battery to pin 2 on each headlight with an inline 20 amp fuse on each. You'll also need to run a wire for the ground (pin 4). I ran a wire from each ground and spliced them together then ran a single wire to the battery ground.
pin 4 connects to the ground wire
pin 3 connects to the red wire on the projector harness
pin 2 connects to the wire that is added and runs to the battery
pin 1 connects to the red wire on the ballast harness

Great post!
The relay box is $35 over at TRS; the headlight pigtails can be purchased on eBay (the last I looked anyway) for about $10 or less and the extra wire, loom, connectors, and tape shouldn't cost that much at all.

Got everything hooked up last night. I left the black wire on the relay harness disconnected and everything works like a champ. The HIDs make the truck look so different! Thanks to everyone for the help

My WPT925 connectors and TRS harness arrived. The headlights will be here tomorrow.
Got a question. I'm assuming the pin configuration going across the connector is "1, 2, 3, 4"?
You can see a "1" and "4" on the connector...
