Default OEM HID headlight stupid question

I bought OEM HID headlights from a member on here. I have the headlights and the harness. My question is, do I need ballasts also? I have never installed after market headlights.

Chances are you have everything you need. If it has the harness, I would think it has the ballasts as well. Best thing...contact the seller. Enjoy!!

The seller said the harness was included so this has nothing to do with the seller. The lights are in great shape also. My question is do I need ballasts for these to work? I have a picture but it won't let me download it. It is a harness I've seen on other retrofit sites. I am lost at this whole after market headlight thing.

this has everything to do with the seller. the ballasts are a part of the headlight assembly itself

That's why this is a stupid question. Thanks. I really have no idea what I am talking about. So all I need is the harness?

You are absolutely correct. I feel like an idiot but did not want to install them wrong. I read about ballasts and watched an install online and thought I was missing something. I will find my dunce hat.
