I know this is an old thread, but I came across it in my search for help. I just moved my antenna from behind the glove box and put it on the dash, a little unsightly, but so far it works so much better. Now that I know it works better, I plan on cleaning it up and making it look nicer. Hope this can help at least one other person on here.
