Nice! Now THAT'S the difference in having a housing designed for the bulb. Unlike throwing an LED or HID bulb in the stock housing which just causes a stray light disaster.

Proper housings for the proper bulb is definitely the way to go.

Can't you reuse your existing OEM brackets for the new lights

No Idea, I haven't received the lights from TRS yet. Op has lights on hand, maybe he figures the switch over is gonna butcher the originals.

I dont mind if I butcher the originals, but I would like replacements on hand in case it ends up not working. I only found the passenger side bracket though. Anyone find both? also, is there any difference in the 09-10 vs 11-13? Their fit check says it wont fit, but I dont think there is any difference.

I like to keep the original parts so I can put the truck back to stock when I trade or sell it. You can probably find a salvage yard with the brackets.

Just ordered a set. Instead of trying to mod bracket to fit, I'm going to attempt to take apart led fogs, and retrofit the stock housings with the internals. May not be possible due to the heat sinking required for the LEDs, If it's possible, I will try and do a compete write up.
