OEM 13/14 HID RETRO what do I have here?
So bought these used. not in too bad of shape. But I was told they were OEM well they aren't lol. I only paid $150 CDN for them so regardless it's a wicked deal just need to figure it out.
They are OE hosuings with upgraded HID's. Not sure if they are 35 or 55 W I unscrewed the block off plates for the OE ballast and there are Morimoto 3five ballasts inside. The back of the bulb housing has 23 Kv on it??
My biggest question is. The harness I was given with them has 2 what look like relays wired in with their own fused power source. Now each bulb leg has what looks like an extra ground wired in? And there are a few wires from the relays that look like their were just cut. Thanks for any help?
Any way to actually identify the bulb and ballast properly?
I welcome anyone's expertise.
Here are photos of the Harness and lights.

Looks light you bought a setup that someone retrofitted to their non hid f150. The morimoto harness allowed them to use the OEM hid headlight assembly to connect to their non hid OEM plug. Not sure if they did a DS2 conversion or just used a different ballast for the DS3 bulb. But it is an easy change to go all OEM by purchasing a OEM ballast and would recommend a new Morimoto harness if you plan on using it on a non-hid vehicle. Hope this helps in any way.

Ok,
The XB 35 ballasts are indeed 35 watt. The bulbs don't have a wattage per se as if you put in XB 50 ballasts it will just make the bulb brighter but with shorter life span.
To me it looks like that harness is bastardized. You may want to get a new one since you got such a good deal. Those block off plates aren't stock.
I assume the projectors haven't been changed as you would have to crack the housing open to do.

So took the block off plates off and the plugs to take some more photos.
Bulbs are Philips D2S 35w. Are these stock?
He had these on a 2010 I'm putting them into a 2011.
So what harness do I need? Or can I just cut all the extra crap off this harness and go back to the way it is from morimoto? Unless the relays were wired in because the morimoto quit working properly? I have auto headlights and would like to retain them.

you got a killer deal my dude. those are Evo X-r D2S HID projectors. those bulbs alone, brand new are roughly $150.
check out the wire diagram above. you can connect it that way to your truck and you will have a properly HID retrofitted headlights on your hands. that's the same setup I want to do for mine. remove the stock HID projector and replace it with that one.
