Default odd warning

I have a 2010 xlt scab. when just driving along Every once in a while I hear a beeping sound. It goes beep beep and then a pause and then it will do it again. It does this for aprox. a minute and then it quits. I don't have any warning lights or anything else . The sound seems to be coming from the area of the radio.Oh, I do have sync. Has anyone else had this happen?

Do you have an OEM Nav. System?
I have a 2011 w/nav. I've heard a sound that sounds like it's a car horn. I thought some eas beeping at me. When I heard it again it was within my truck. Drove a few miles and heard it again.Looked at the radio, founf out thar it was a warning of construction or an accident, or some other traffic problem ahead.

Almost. My son went out to the truck this morning and it was making the sound with the truck shut off. He found that my stopwatch which i carry in the truck has an alarm set that I didn't know about. It was going off every once and awhile.

Correct, if you are on a navigation route it will warn you of accidents or road construction ahead. You might also get a question wanting to know if you want to route around.
