1) will this work on EcoBoost engines or just because it is an OBD2 port should it work regardless of what engine you have?

2) I know people will throw out the "Void Warranty" card out there, but this is no way shape or form a tuner, it is strictly a reader, scanner, information display! Are there any ACTUAL Ford techs out there than can say wether or not Ford will frown on plugging in a scanner into the OBD2 port? Thanks!
Hi, dear friend, I know a wifi obd2 scan tool, it fits to works on your car, and it is about 100usd, you can check. I have used it, it is a good tool.

The FREE iTSX app from app store allows bluetooth pairing to your iPhone or iPad -
Once you have connected the iTSX accessory ($400) to your vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic port, you can "pair" the accessory to your iPod, iPhone or iPad using the bluetooth wireless feature on your device. Not only will it work as a code reader you hav the tune option (+ more) later after ur warrantee is up if you r concerned about that.

You work for that company right? That was a great explanation!

Mike@5Star is selling those with tunes.

Just wanted to weigh in on a code reader solution I got that seems to work great on my Expedition (i've also used it to read and clear codes on a 2004 Tundra and on my wife's 2006 BMW X3). Can't imagine why it wouldn't work for Ecoboost as long as you have the OBDII port. Here is a little write up/review I did for it and for the Torque Pro app, hope it helps ...
