I have a bak rollbak tonneau cover for my truck. Got it used with no rails. Didn't think it would be a big deal to get new rails, well I was wrong. Called BAK industries and they told me without a proof of purchase they won't sell them to me. Called couple local dealers but they don't seem interested in helping. Running out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated if anybody has dealt with this. Or if anyone knows a dealer that will help me out

Maybe someone who has purchased can do you a huge favor and provide their proof of purchase and you can maybe tell them you moved and had it in storage an after the move cannot find your rails? Or buy one and return and scan your receipt?

Just trying to come up with ideas to help

I have to ask, but why would you buy a tonneau cover without the rails?

good question. Or more to the point, who would sell it without the rails. I'm sure Bak's logic is that many requests for rails come from covers that have been stolen.

A relative of mine had the tonneau. They some how messed up the rails trying to make it fit a 5.5 foot bed. I got it for next to nothing.

Does your relative have proof of purchase? Bak has a registration process for their covers. See if they registered the product, if so, they should be able to get you replacements.

It was bought online and not with one of their approved online dealers. I just don't understand why BAK won't just sell them to me and make a couple hundred bucks
