LOL, it would be nice if you could switch the stocker ones for the tow ones easily! I want the tow ones for the couple times I tow but HATE the way they look on the truck and prefer the smaller ones!

When they are telescoped all the way out you barely fit in one lane of traffic...they ARE HUGE!!!!

Funny thread. I think it looks ok. Never noticed my ant waving wildly in the wind. Would be concerned it would snap off instead of bend, you know from a tree branch or some sob grabbing it...

First time I pulled in to the garage tonight and no SCRAPE against the door. That noise scared me a bit every time I back in, thinking I hit something....

I personally am OK with the factory black antenna. I can honestly say I have never been distracted by my antenna by it flopping in the wind...could be I pay attention to my driving and not my antenna.

The factory antenna is designed to be approx. 31 inches in length as this is optimal for AM/FM reception for all practical automotive purposes.

If you love your antenna that's all that matters. Enjoy your ride!

i always hit trees that over hang with my antenna, and i think it looks much better with the full pic of the truck. and to whoever mentioned they wish they had tow mirrors, i know LMC has slip on tow mirrors, i've seen em for my year (93), i dunno about what year your truck is or if they have em, but you should take a look.

your whole problem is NOT coming on here and asking our honest opinions! your problem is that you get offended.

i was gonna suggest that you stand in front of your antenna, but that would prolly make it look retarded and gay. just sayin'.
